There are two basic admission requirements necessary to enroll in a Queen's degree program. The first is that a student must have an undergraduate degree. If an applicant does not have a Bachelor's degree, they will need to earn a Master's or Doctorate degree in order to enroll. Students may also need to submit supplemental documentation such as a Valid Student Number (ESN) or Student Identification Card (ISIC). Additional requirements may be needed in order to participate in Queen's Financial Aid.

The second set of admission requirements is that students must have passed the University Transfer Admission Test (UTAT). An applicant must have previously taken courses at another institution, so it is important to check with the admissions office to confirm this. After acceptance into Queen's a student will receive a Student Identity Card (SIC), which is required to access facilities on campus and to apply for financial aid. Students are encouraged to begin applying to programs as early as possible. It is advised that applicants start as early as possible because spaces are limited and applications are subject to review.

Once a student has been . . . . . . accepted into a Queen's program, they will need to decide what type of program they want to enroll in. There are a number of options, including Bachelor of Arts programs, Certificate Programs, Associate Degrees, and Specializations. Some programs take longer than others, depending on an individual student's schedule and abilities. Students can also register for the International Student Services Program (ISSP) and apply for the International Exchange program (IEP).

In addition to the standard programs, there are a number of specialty programs offered by Queen's. For example, Business Administration I is a one-year graduate degree program where students choose either Management or Accounting as their specialization. Students can complete their courses at Queen's College in London, England or at any other location where a Business Administration program is offered. International Studies is similar to Business Administration I in that students choose from Accounting or Management. Students will have credit for relevant international credits, but will not receive the same status as those who earn their degrees in Business Administration I.
