International Nurses Day is a celebration of all the dedicated work that international nurses do every single day. As you may imagine, it includes working in far off and strange places as well as serving in many different settings. This can be very tiring for some nurses who are used to working in one setting only. Some people do not like the change of pace and would rather stick to their domestic life for a while. While that is perfectly understandable, there is no reason why a nurse should not come to the aid of those who wish to better themselves or enjoy their achievements in other parts of the globe.
The aim of International Nurses Day is to recognize the dedication and hard work that nurses put into their jobs. On this day, organizations and communities have come together to celebrate this activity which involves nurses all over the world. A number of parties are organized in various cities and countries to give recognition to nursing efforts. Many organizations encourage working nurses to attend events like these to let other people know of their good deeds.
International Nurses Day can also be observed in several other ways. Countries like Canada have an international nursing day which takes place on the first Saturday of May every year. Countries like US have their own national nursing day which takes place on the second Saturday of May. All these coincide with World Nurses Day.
The primary goal of International Nurses Day is to draw attention to nursing efforts and to promote better pay and conditions for nurses. It is also a chance for nurses from different countries to get together and share ideas on how best to serve their communities. To mark this day, activities are arranged around several different topics such as nursing seminars, cookery demonstrations and lectures on international nursing. Many hospitals offer free courses and other public information materials on international nursing to increase awareness. In many cities, conferences on nursing are organized by local nursing groups and government offices.
Nurses associations from various parts of the globe will hold an international nurses day in a few different locations. China is organizing its first ever National Nursing Conference which will take place in early May. The agenda will include details of the history of the nursing profession in China, discussions on the role of the nursing profession in society and an international literature review. A committee will also be set up to address issues related to the environment for the recruitment and training of nurses and to plan the program accordingly. Details of other nursing events which will take place in China will also be made available on the nurses' association website.
China has been hosting numerous conferences and events related to the nursing industry over the past few years. President Tsai of Taiwan has expressed his desire that International Nurses Day would be celebrated in China on the same year as International Nurses Day. If possible, the founder of modern nursing. William Patterson donated his annual pension to help build hospitals in China . . . . . . and establish local nursing groups.
